1. BROWN'S STORE. The first store in Immokalee. This general store was owned by Bill Brown in 1907.
2. THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH was the first church building in Immokalee.
3. MR. KENNEDY CARSON'S MEAT MARKET. This was the first meat market in Immokalee. Carson raised and butchered his own cattle.
4. IMOKALEE GROWERS INC., one of the oldest fresh vegetable packing houses, an important industry in the community.
5. IMMOKALEE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, grades one through eight, was the first school in Immokalee. There was no high school at the time.
6. The SEABOARD COAST LINE RAILWAY STATION in Immokalee. It burned down in 1971.
7. This is the store building erected by "UNCLE SAM" THOMPSON, built in 1924. 8. Purebred SANTA GERTRUDIS CATTLE. Tom Williams house in the background.
9. SEMINOLE CHICKEE, one of the earliest buildings in Immokalee. This type of building could be found in the heart of Immokalee until Hurricane Donna in 1960.
