Caring for Vintage Items

A guide to extending the life of your vintage pieces (in development)

    • LEATHER ITEMS: It is recommended that once every three months you take your leather items out of their bags and boxes to air them and prevent mold from forming.
      1. SHINY/PATENTED LEATHER: It is very important not to let your piece dry out, after all, it is made of leather! Opt for almond oil or body moisturizer and apply it all over the piece, spreading it with a dry, soft cloth. Then, just let it dry in a well-ventilated place - and remember: away from sunlight.
      2. SUEDE LEATHER: Suede is a dull leather, so we recommend brushing it to remove dirt with a suede brush. You can also apply a neutral waterproofing spray to increase durability and water resistance.
